Use JSB's standard donation form at any time, one time or monthly, securely processed by Donorbox. The minimum donation is $5, in whichever currency you select.
- Choose an amount (minimum $5, in whichever currency you select) and select one time, monthly, or annual giving.
- Enter your name and email address.
- Enter your card details and select "Donate" to complete your gift.
How to donate
Step by step instructions for giving on the JSB Donation Portal, including notes on Apple Pay, PayPal, other payment options, and the minimum donation amount.
Before you start
All donations are collected through a secure Donorbox form, whether you give through the standard donation form or a specific campaign. No card or bank details are stored on the JSB website itself. A minimum donation of $5 (in whichever currency you select) is required for every gift. If you use a screen reader, the donation form loads inside a labeled panel with its own step indicator (Choose amount, Info, Payment, Confirm). Use your screen reader's forms or headings navigation, or the Tab key, to move between fields.
How to give
Whether you start from the standard donation form or from a specific campaign, giving follows the same three simple steps.
- Select "Donate" in the top menu for the standard form, select "Donate" on any campaign card to support that campaign directly, or scroll to the "Prefer to give directly?" section near the bottom of the page.
- Choose amount: pick one time, monthly, or (on the standard form) annual giving. Choose a suggested amount or enter your own (minimum $5, in whichever currency you select), and pick your currency. On the standard form you may also choose a specific Donation Area, dedicate your gift, or add a comment. Select Next.
- Your info: enter your first name, last name, and email. Check "Make donation anonymous" if you prefer your name not be shown publicly. Select Next.
- Payment: enter your card details, or choose PayPal or Klarna if offered. Select "Donate" to complete your gift.
Apple Pay, PayPal, and other payment methods
- PayPal and Klarna are currently only offered on individual campaign donation pages, not on the standard donation form. If you specifically want to use PayPal, choose a campaign first.
- Apple Pay is an automatic fast checkout button that appears near the top of the Payment step when your browser and device support it and you have a card saved in Apple Wallet. It is not a method you select from a list the way PayPal or Card are, it simply appears on its own when available.
- If you expected to see Apple Pay and it is not there, confirm a card is saved in Apple Wallet and allow a few extra seconds on the Payment step for it to load before assuming it is unavailable.
- If Apple Pay still does not appear, you can donate with a card directly, use PayPal through a campaign page, or contact JSB for help completing your gift another way.
